We have the Cheerleader of the Week here on the blog, now, a story about the Pet of the Week. No, it's not what you're thinking – not even close. The Green Bay Packers have a feature on the team's Web site this year that allows fans to nominate their pet for this weekly honor. "Your pet could win the chance to debut their Packers pride on the Packers in-stadium TundraVision video board in addition to Packers.com, along with a Packers pet food bowl, pet leash and pet collar," says the announcement on the team's site. Debut their Packers pride? Are you kidding me? Has is gotten this bad at Lambeau Field? Rumor has it that winning pets may have the opportunity to play a defensive position for the Packers. It could be the upgrade the team's organization failed to address in the offseason. Oh jeez, was that a cheap shot?
