Rocket Boom, Boom

Let's drop the football talk for a bit. I've found a Web site that I can't stop visiting. It's called Rocketboom. You probably already know about it. I'm usually the last to know about these things. Anyway, Rocketboom is a videoblog featuring a three-minute daily newscast offering stories from everything to politics to coffee art. The blog, or vlog, I guess, is fascinating and I can't stop watching. Perhaps the reason I feel compelled to watch everyday is the host, Amanda Congdon. Amanda is smart, witty, and, oh yeah, gorgeous. (Of course she's gorgeous. I'm not watching just anyone talk about dumpster diving.) I have to admit, I keep waiting for her to take off her shirt, but I've watched about 30 episodes and, well, Amanda still has her shirt on – everyday. In addition, Amanda has a blog – it's mostly a bunch of words with the occasional photo – called Amanda UnBoomed. Trust me, in whatever form she decides to present herself, Amanda is always boomed. Actually boom, boomed is a more accurate portrayal.
